Job description


As a Product & Solution Manager at Monizze you are the link between the business stakeholders and the internal IT department and external IT providers.

You are responsible from A to Z to deliver the projects at Monizze, from identifying new ideas for projects to preparing those projects with concerned business stakeholders all the way to the correct management of the successful execution of those projects by the different involved parties.


  • Explore the market for new ideas, i.e.
    • Follow-up publications and build out a network of contacts, in order to follow-up trends in the domains of Fintech, HR Tech, Food Tech and Marketing Tech. Relevant ideas should be synthesized and communicated to the Monizze DirCo
    • Organize regular calls with start-ups to keep in touch with the market and identify potential partnerships
    • Organize internal brainstorming sessions with business stakeholders and organize surveys and interviews with Monizze customers, beneficiaries and affiliates to get necessary feedback
  • Qualify and prioritize ideas to bring them to our Product Boards
  • Preparation of projects, i.e. convert ideas to a functional design
    • Organize & lead squad workshops for projects in preparation phase
    • Generate business case together with all squad members
    • Generate planning/roadmap for delivery of the project
    • Generate personae description and user journeys
    • Generate detailed functional blue print
    • Coordinate with IT architects for delivery of IT Architecture Blue Print
    • Reporting on status of preparation stages & manage the Gate validation process
    • Hand-over Blue prints to Centuries (Product Owner & IT developers) for execution
  • Project management of projects in delivery (execution)
    • Overall follow-up of project activities
    • Status reporting, issue escalation and reporting
    • Present project evolution on SteerCos
    • Coordinate all IT, Business and external efforts (like legal/contractual discussion, deliveries of partners…)

Job requirements

  • Proven working experience on IT projects (as Product Owner, UX/UI specialist, Project Manager or Business/Functional Analyst)
  • High autonomy and eagerness to take a leading role to improve products & services of Monizze
  • Excellent analytical skills, i.e. ability to collect requirements, structure them and convert them into a functional solution
  • Team player, i.e. ability to work together with different stakeholders and find compromise between different (sometimes conflicting) points of view
  • Excellent project management capabilities, i.e. good follow-up of different activities, ability to report & escalate issues…
  • Interested in IT systems, i.e. interested in understanding how IT systems work and how they are build/maintained
  • Hands-on and pragmatic approach, i.e. willing to dive into the detail and help out wherever needed
  • Think outside of the box and come up with new innovative ideas
  • You speak Dutch or French, with a good understanding of the other language and are fluent (both speaking and writing) in English
  • Authentically curious, loving learning and improving himself
  • Eager to help out others and share knowledge
  • Result oriented.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge and experience in the Fintech, HR Tech, Food Tech and/or MarketingTech industry, with focus on:
    • Payments and cards
    • Employee Benefits Management
    • eCommerce
    • Coupons & Gift cards
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics, like SQL querying
  • Knowledge of Innovation Thinking
  • Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Familiar with the Atlassian suite tools (Jira, Confluence & ServiceDesk)
