Make the marketing squads operate as connected, accountable and performance-driven delivery teams.

Job description

About Monizze

Monizze is the Belgian challenger in employee benefits and purchasing power. We move faster than the incumbents, we test more than they do, and we're not interested in doing marketing the way it's always been done. If you want to run a team from a dashboard and a quarterly plan, this isn't your role. If you want to lead four specialists, get into the detail with them and make the whole thing perform as one engine, keep reading.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not a strategy-only or advisory position. You combine people-management experience with enough functional & tactical marketing expertise to manage, challenge and support specialists in their day-to-day work.

Your job in one line: make the marketing squads operate as connected, accountable and performance-driven delivery teams.

🧇 Belgian roots, mindset & attitude: a cool and informal atmosphere – one of the best things since waffles
🚀 Disrupting and innovative: we digitalized the market and keep pushing innovation in every aspect
🧠 Your growth is our growth: unlimited learning opportunities (languages, personal growth, hard skills,...)
👪 Your health and your family's health is covered by our hospitalization insurance
✨ Internal mobility is regularly an option for anyone looking to evolve or change jobs or departments
🏠 Homeworking opportunities and overall flexibility
🧳 A yearly trip with all your colleagues to celebrate our achievements
➕ We do much more for our employees, but we needed space to describe the job! We'd love to tell you about it though, so ask us!

Job requirements

Lead and develop 4 specialists

You manage, coach and develop four leads, with enough depth to challenge and support each of them on their own terrain:

  • growth & revenue marketing: campaign angle, paid media, lifecycle design, cross-sell, upsell and product adoption

  • marketing ops & automation: MCAE/Pardot architecture, segmentation, scoring, the tooling stack, UTM governance, deliverability and GDPR-grade data quality

  • web, content & SEO: the multilingual site (NL/FR/EN) as an acquisition and conversion channel, landing pages, CRO, SEO/GEO/AEO

  • events, partner & affiliation: partner activation, co-marketing, affiliation as its own commercial motion, and lead handoff

You set priorities, expectations and ownership. You review work, challenge choices, remove blockers and raise the bar, while execution stays with the owners.

Run the squad

  • own the squad way of working across the whole marketing team, not only your four direct reports, and make sure it works in practice

  • set and protect the cadence: planning, prioritisation, ownership, delivery follow-up, decisions, retrospectives

  • coordinate dependencies with Sales, Product, Customer Experience, Data and IT

  • hold a consolidated view of priorities, capacity, progress and risk, and step in early when delivery slips

Make the tools earn their place

  • make sure marketing runs on the right stack, used to its full potential and drive best-practice adoption so tooling knowledge doesn't sit with one person

  • your specialists propose the tools; you and the CMO decide together what marketing runs on

  • keep AI embedded in daily execution: agents, skills and workflows that save real time

Drive connected, measurable execution

The pieces have to add up to one story, told the same way whether someone meets us through an ad, the website, a partner event or a sales call.

  • make web, campaigning and automation work as one acquisition and growth engine

  • hold the red thread across paid, web, email, events and the sales conversation

  • turn performance data into decisions, optimisations and next experiments, with KPIs and metrics that support qualified lead success rather than raw volume

Partner closely with the CMO

  • short lines and regular, concise exchanges on priorities, delivery, team dynamics and risk

  • assist in translating the CMO's direction into a realistic operational roadmap, with clear recommendations when trade-offs are needed

  • create transparency without piling on reporting overhead

What this role doesn’t hold

  • you don't set overall marketing strategy or brand direction. That sits with the CMO, and you turn it into execution that works

  • you don't manage product marketing, comms/PR or brand & creative. Those specialists report to the CMO and you work with them as peer

  • you're not doing the specialists' work for them. You challenge, unblock and raise the bar; execution stays with the owners. You need enough depth to hold the conversation, not to take over the keyboard

What stays yours: whether the team delivers, at what quality, and with what commercial impact.

What we’re looking for

  • proven experience managing and developing marketing specialists with distinct areas of expertise

  • experience coordinating multidisciplinary delivery through clear priorities, cadence, ownership and follow-up

  • commercial and analytical mindset: you connect marketing activity to pipeline, adoption and revenue

  • enough fluency in product marketing, comms/PR and brand & creative to be credible in the room without owning them

  • broad lifecycle expertise across acquisition, conversion, onboarding, retention and expansion

  • experience in B2B, B2B2C, fintech, HR tech, SaaS or another multi-product environment is a plus

  • English plus French and/or Dutch; trilingual is a strong asset

The profile

  • a player-coach, comfortable moving between people leadership, squad orchestration and detailed marketing discussions

  • creates clarity and momentum without micromanaging or becoming the bottleneck

  • decisive and pragmatic, comfortable making trade-offs in a fast-moving environment

  • constructive but demanding on quality, with strong communication and stakeholder skills

  • AI is already embedded in how you work. You build and optimise your own skills, agents and workflows, expect the same from your team, and can tell where AI raises quality rather than just volume

Why join Monizze?

Monizze sits at the intersection of purchasing power, payments, mobility and employee benefits. A Belgian challenger with genuine ambition and the pace to match. You'll take a strong specialist team and make it operate as one connected marketing engine, with direct influence on how the next stage of growth actually gets delivered.

If you'd rather build a team that performs than write the plan for one, let's talk.
