About Monizze

The Belgian HR Tech landscape is at an inflection point. Social secretariats are digitizing, the pay transparency directive is reshaping compensation management, and flexible remuneration is becoming the new baseline.

In this context, Monizze can partner and co-innovate in ways pure HR platforms cannot. Unlocking that potential requires someone who understands the HR ecosystem, sees the possibilities a financial infrastructure opens up, and can bring those two worlds together with external stakeholders.

This is one of Monizze’s most strategically important roles. You will report directly to the CPO with a strong mandate from DirCo, ensuring that what you learn in the field connects directly to product direction and commercial execution. You will be Monizze’s key face in the Belgian HR Tech landscape: building trusted relationships with social secretariats, payroll providers, and HR Tech vendors, and co-developing innovations only possible from a FinTech position.

What You’ll Do

Build and animate the HR Tech ecosystem

  • Map and maintain relationships across the Belgian HR Tech ecosystem: social secretariats, accountants, employers' federations, HR tech vendors, and fintech players.

  • Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers and innovation leads at social secretariats and payroll providers, bringing a financial services perspective that opens new conversations.

  • Represent Monizze at key Belgian HR Tech events and working groups.

Build and animate the HR Tech ecosystem

  • Identify white spaces where Monizze's capabilities (payment infrastructure, regulated product design, financial data) could enable innovations others cannot offer.

  • Translate stakeholder conversations into structured insight: opportunity briefs, partnership hypotheses and go/no-go recommendations.

  • Monitor relevant regulatory developments (pay transparency directive 2026, GDPR, sectoral agreements) and benchmark against European HR Tech and FinTech trends.

Drive innovation with external partners

  • Scope and structure partnership agreements that leverage Monizze's financial infrastructure: integrations, co-developed products, embedded financial services, and new benefit distribution models.

  • Design and run innovation pilots with external partners, focused on what becomes possible when financial capabilities meet HR ecosystem reach.

  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial to drive pilots through to operational reality.

Bridge ecosystem and product

  • Act as the primary interface between external partners and internal product and tech teams, translating market signals into concrete product opportunities.

  • Contribute to product and partnership roadmaps with a strong understanding of what the market needs and what Monizze's infrastructure uniquely enables.

Strengthen Monizze's market position

  • Position Monizze as an innovation leader in the Belgian HR space through speaking engagements, publications, and industry participation.

  • Build the narratives and partner-facing messaging that articulate Monizze's unique value as a regulated financial player in the HR ecosystem.

What You’ll Bring

Experience

  • 5 to 8 years in HR Tech, employee benefits, payroll, FinTech, business development, partnerships, or strategy roles.

  • Track record of building senior stakeholder relationships in complex, multi-partner environments.

  • Experience translating market intelligence into actionable opportunities, whether product, partnership, or commercial.

  • Background in the Belgian social secretariat ecosystem or regulated financial products is a strong asset.

Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of the Belgian HR and payroll landscape: social secretariats, payroll processing, and how employee benefits fit into the broader compensation structure.

  • Familiarity with the Belgian regulatory framework: NSSO/RSZ rules, collective bargaining agreements, and emerging EU directives affecting HR and compensation.

  • Understanding of how financial integrations and embedded services can be woven into HR workflows.

Skills and mindset

  • You build trust quickly and maintain it over time, across profiles ranging from product leads to C-level executives.

  • You turn complex market conversations into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • You combine a strong commercial instinct with genuine curiosity about what becomes possible where financial services and HR meet.

  • You do not wait for briefs. You identify where to look, go there, and bring back what matters.

  • You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating momentum where structure does not yet exist.

  • You are fluent in French or Dutch, with strong professional English. Fluency in both French and Dutch is a strong plus.

What success looks like

Within the first 6 months, you will have to:

  • Built a structured map of the Belgian HR Tech ecosystem, with opportunity angles identified for priority partners.

  • Opened at least 3 to 5 active discovery tracks with social secretariats or HR Tech partners, each with a clear opportunity hypothesis drawing on Monizze's financial capabilities.

Within the first year, you will have to:

  • Scoped at least 1 to 2 partnership or pilot agreements, including at least one that leverages Monizze's financial infrastructure in a novel way.

  • Established a regular intelligence feed flowing to internal product and commercial teams.

  • Increased Monizze's visibility in the Belgian HR Tech ecosystem through your external presence.
